Package: tutos2
Severity: normal

I've doing a few test and I can't install tutos2 from the package. Hope you
see it as an effort to improve the package, you already know I really thank
your job with tutos. :)

Let's go step by step. I type:

    nomada:~# LC_ALL=C aptitude install tutos2
    [..]
The following NEW packages will be installed:
      libgd2-xpm libphp-jpgraph libpq3 php4-gd postgresql postgresql-client
      smarty tutos2
    [..]

Then questions begin:

    1. postgresql: PostgreSQL database path (default).
    2. postgresql: Purge database with package removal? (yes).
    3. postgresql: Locale ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
    4. postgresql: European or US day/month in dates (European).
    5. tutos2: Webserver (localhost).
    6. tutos2: Hostname TUTOS SGBD (localhost).

Until that question things were easy. Now:

    7. tutos2: Username SGBD administrator. I haven't installed typed that
in the postgresql installation and nobody has told me the username.
In the field it appears "postgresql", so I will press ok.
    8. tutos2: TUTOS SGBD admin (DBA) password. No idea at all, I never
typed a password in postgresql questions. Will leave it blank.
    9. tutos2: Confirm the DBA password. Blank again.
    10. tutos2: What is the username of the SGBD user. Again, no idea.
Maybe www-data. Maybe just "tutos". Will type "tutos".
    11. tutos2: TUTOS SGBD user password. Again, I don't know. Will leave
        it blank again.
    12. tutos2: Confirm TUTOS SGBD user password. Blank again.
    13. Warning message. The tutos install script will create the database
but I have to create the tables going to an URL. Ok.

Then I see:

    chown: `tutos:tutos': invalid user
    dpkg: error processing tutos2 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
    Errors were encountered while processing:
     tutos2

    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Ack! Something bad happened while installing packages. Trying to recover:
    Setting up tutos2 (2.0.20050413-1) ...
    chown: `tutos:tutos': invalid user
    dpkg: error processing tutos2 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
    Errors were encountered while processing:
     tutos2

Oh, it seems to do a chown, so maybe I should have chosen www-data. I will
purge the packages and begin again (purging it says "Document `TUTOS' is
not installed, cannot remove." as explained in bug #233545 in tutos
package).

I repeat the installation changing tutos to www-data and leaving the
password empty. Now error is:

    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Ack! Something bad happened while installing packages. Trying to recover:
    Setting up tutos2 (2.0.20050413-1) ...
    dpkg: error processing tutos2 (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
     Errors were encountered while processing:
      tutos2
