Bug#438640: gnus: invalid-byte-code when trying to enter a group

This bug appeared after a problem with xemacs21-nomule and then
switching to xemacs21-mule.  This problem disappeared after removing
corrupted data from the ~/.newsrc.eld file.

Compare this with bug #438513.

Perhaps this bug should be assigned to the xemacs21-nomule package.

I cannot reproduce this bug using xemacs21-mule.
