-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Subject: rt2500-source: RT2500STA.dat not mentioned in INSTALL.debian Package: rt2500-source Version: 1.1.0+cvs20060 Severity: important
*** Please type your report below this line *** Nobody told me I had to edit the /etc/Wireless/RT2500STA/RT2500STA.dat file, if I had known about that I would have clicked that the reason I wasn't getting an IP although everything else looked perfect, was because the default value for auth was AuthMode=SHARED when my system uses AuthMode=OPEN. I mean there is a quickstart file for debian users called INSTALL.debian that ships with the rt2500-source.deb, however this file make no mention of RT2500STA.dat which gets installed as above. Now seeing that RT2500STA.dat ships with a default Auth setting of SHARED, that file should be mentioned in INSTALL.debian.
