Hi, when searching for "/usr/bin/[" dpkg -S finds it if I escape the "[" properly. dlocate does not seem to find anything, regardless of how I escape the bracket: $ dpkg -S /usr/bin/\\[ coreutils: /usr/bin/[ $ dlocate /usr/bin/[ $ dlocate /usr/bin/\[ $ dlocate /usr/bin/\\[ $ So dlocate does not seem to work with certain characters. Perhaps somewhere the escape character is stripped?
