I just noticed that you (or your partners) compiled libmozjs0d with -DMOZILLA_1_8_BRANCH defined. But in the pkg-config file provided by libmozjs-dev, you didn't contain that macro. So all my program failed if I simply trusted the output of pkg-config. I suggest adding -DMOZILLA_1_8_BRANCH to "/usr/lib/pkgconfig/xulrunner-js.pc".
