Package: splashy Version: 0.3.5 Severity: important -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
I'm using splashy together with upstart, but everytime I boot with the 'splash' flag (splash=verbose and others don't work) I get the following message: Splashy ERROR: Connection refused Splashy ERROR: Timeout (120 sec) occured while waiting for a message on the Splashy socket In order to see it I have to close the splash screen. At the point that message is displayed (two or three lines below the Starting boot splash... one) the boot process stopped. Note: I'm NOT using splashy in the initramfs - -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-a64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages splashy depends on: ii libc6 2.6.1-1+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.14.0-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libmagic1 4.21-2 File type determination library us ii libsplashy1 0.3.5 Library to draw splash screen on b ii lsb-base 3.1-24 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-5 compression library - runtime splashy recommends no packages. - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFG2wwpYy49rUbZzloRAkT/AJ9FlOtwUddZhW3NffHTdT0vjj83vACeIJTx 8HxFzJlKPB64q++/LK5yp8E= =HQ8g -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
