This is probably the case -- it looks like Petr has a wrapper called vmwaredsp, and someone on VMTN apparently updated it recently: http://platan.vc.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/vmwaredsp-1.3.tar.gz http://www.vmware.com/community/thread.jspa?messageID=694099 I've never used audio with vmware before -- does loading snd_pcm_oss.ko not work?
