Package: freepops Version: 0.2.5-1 Severity: normal On install, freepops did not create symlinks in /etc/rc?.d/ and, thus, the daemon was never started at boot. The debconf freepops/init setting was empty, while freepops/updates was true and freepops/jail was false. I am not sure, but I think I never saw the debconf dialog on install.
dpkg-reconfigure freepops fixed the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-amd64-bootsplash (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages freepops depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.14 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.6.1-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.16.4-5 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libexpat1 1.95.8-4 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libgcrypt11 1.2.4-2 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libkrb53 1.6.dfsg.1-6 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii liblua5.1-0 5.1.2-3 Simple, extensible, embeddable pro ii liblua5.1-curl0 0.2.1-2+b1 libcURL bindings for the lua langu ii liblua5.1-expat0 1.1.0-1 libexpat bindings for the lua lang ii liblua5.1-filesystem0 1.2.1-1 luafilesystem library for the lua ii lsb-base 3.1-24 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip freepops recommends no packages. -- debconf information: * freepops/init: true * freepops/updates: true * freepops/jail: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
