Thanks for reporting this issue. Is pine officially a part of Debian? Or did you perhaps mean alpine? Mailutil has been part of uw-mailutils for several years (and Pine is based on uw-imap too!), so even if some other package now contains some of the same files, I suspect that those other package needs to avoid it instead. Please tell me which package specifically is colliding with uw-mailutils, so this this bugreport can be redirected.
