Package: synaptic Version: 0.60+b1 Severity: important --- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Synaptic doesn't keep the "consider recommends as dependencies" option; the ~/.synaptic/synaptic.conf UseRecommends "true"; line, which some previous version left and I suppose related to that checkbox in GUI, is ignored (neither the checkbox is checked nor the recommends are considered as dependencies).
