ld spits out 3 assertion failures in a row while linking a simple test program during the openh323 build. This leads to the test program failing with undefined symbols later on, as can be seen on the build logs at <http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?&pkg=openh323&ver=1.18.0.dfsg-4&arch=mips&stamp=1187867576&file=log> <http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?&pkg=openh323&ver=1.18.0.dfsg-4&arch=mipsel&stamp=1187890191&file=log> The buildds were running binutils 2.17cvs20070804-1, and I can reproduce the problem with the current binutils from sid (2.18~cvs20070812-1). openh323 1.18.0.dfsg-1+b1 is the last version that build properly on mipsen, and that was with binutils binutils 2.17-3.
