Package: dovecot-common Version: 1.0.rc15-2etch1 Severity: minor Hi,
I just installed the dovecot security upgrade to 1.0.rc15-2etch1 and discovered a problem with the postinst script of package dovecot-common: At my site I get following output of aptitude upgrade: [...] Richte dovecot-common ein (1.0.rc15-2etch1) ... /var/lib/dpkg/info/dovecot-common.postinst: line 26: [: /etc/ssl/certs/my_imap_cert.pem: binary operator expected Creating generic self-signed certificate: /etc/ssl/certs/my_imap_cert.pem /etc/ssl/certs/pop3.lenk.info_cert.pem (replace with hand-crafted or authorized one if needed). Warning : Bad SSL config, can't generate certificate [...] The file /etc/ssl/certs/my_imap_cert.pem is mode 644 and owned by user root and group dovecot. Apparently this is no real problem (i.e. the IMAP server didn't stop to work) but at least it's a bit unaesthetic.
