Could you *please* stop just responding to the -done address? I felt
there was a problem, and if you convince me otherwise, I'll gladly
close the bug myself. If you're really aghast at the suggestion, tag
the bug wontfix. It's not like having an open wishlist request is
hurting anything anyway.

It's completely buried in the README:

* "/etc/init.d/resolvconf reload" calls scripts in
/etc/resolvconf/update.d/ which update DNS cache configuration file
fragments, reload daemons and regenerate /etc/resolv.conf. If
the latter has changed then nscd is restarted and scripts in
  /etc/resolvconf/update-libc.d/ are run.

And additionally, it seems really strange to document how a program is
supposed to be called in the README.gz

I'll gladly generate a patch that implements either proposed solution
if it's something that you would apply.
