The GdkLauncher is very slow to load images in a given page, it can take more than several minutes here to get eg. the NASA homepage to load. Additionally, it looks like it has a tendency to load images starting at the bottom of the page (or, rather, the end of the HTML file) instead of starting at the top like other browsers do.
