If you open the image, in the thumbnail collection, it's shown with a blue background and the font is in bold. When trying to switch to a different picture, the blue background changes, the old one stays in bold. > Do you get any warnings printed on the terminal when eog fails to switch > image? There shouldn't be anything really unusual about it. It's just taking with my digital camera. I've never had problems with this before. The files are all about 2.5-3 MB big, and 2592*3888 pixels.
