I was bitten by a similar issue today when R, PostgreSQL and PL/R didn't want to play nicely together on Ubuntu, but worked on Debian (long story short: I needed to rebuild Ubuntu's pl/R to match the R 2.5.1 I had built locally). Could you quickly check, using eg ldd, whether a difference between where it works and where it does not may be that that some programs link to libc6 2.6 and other don't? Otherwise, what else have we got to go after? Dirk -- Three out of two people have difficulties with fractions. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
