How are you?
Fine. What's up with you these days?
Are you still in Darmstadt/Germany?
Yes.
Please see the bugreport against lurker below.
I guess that the bug is in lurker-2.1/render/url.cpp, but i'm
unable to
find the tool 'reg2c' that you used for creating the code.
It's in lurker cvs. ;-) I wrote it. I also have a newer version
written in SML that lurker isn't using.
I just noticed that lurker does not correctly parse URLs:
http://www.ft.com/cms/s/a8b4a952-094c-11dc-
a349-000b5df10621,_i_rssPage=61e21220-6714-11da-a650-0000779e2340.html
on this URL, it stops at the = and thus creates a link to a 404
page. It would be nice if = could be included in the regexp.
I'll fix this bug on my flight to Japan (tomorrow night). I think
I'll rewrite the parsing to actually follow RFC1738&822 for the
regexp and use the newer regexp compiler. So it'll be fixed in CVS
within the next week.
I think I'll release a new version of lurker after this. It's been
this long simply because there haven't been any bugs I consider
serious discovered in ages. I've gotten a report about a possible bug
in the search engine, so I'll delay the release until this is
confirmed/denied.
