Package: libcurl3-gnutls Version: 7.16.4-3 Severity: serious Justification: OpenSSL/GPLv2 conflict
The latest version of libcurl3-gnutls depends on libssh2-0 and libgnutls13. libssh2-0 depends on libssl0.9.8. libgnutls13 contains GPLv2 portions (the ones, for example, used in libcurl3-gnutls). The GPLv2 is not compatible with the OpenSSL license, which is why we have libcurl3-gnutls in the first place. Please fix this. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libcurl3-gnutls depends on: ii libc6 2.6.1-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgnutls13 1.6.3-1 the GNU TLS library - runtime libr ii libidn11 1.0-0 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libkrb53 1.6.dfsg.1-6 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-5 compression library - runtime Versions of packages libcurl3-gnutls recommends: ii ca-certificates 20070303 Common CA Certificates PEM files -- no debconf information -- brian m. carlson / brian with sandals: Houston, Texas, US +1 713 440 7475 | http://crustytoothpaste.ath.cx/~bmc | My opinion only OpenPGP: RSA v4 4096b 88AC E9B2 9196 305B A994 7552 F1BA 225C 0223 B187
