Assuming that you mean "right hand" (the md5sum is on the left), this assumption is true except for two packages in the archive which have a leading './': mktemp and svn-arch-mirror. I will file bugs against them. No packages have a leading '/'. (Note that accessing the md5sums currently fails in 103 packages so I may have missed some hits, but it's unlikely. I'll file another bug report about that problem later today.)
