Could you test with libsane <= 1.0.19~cvs20070505-2 ?

That may be a side effect of the sanei_scsi rework, though it's been
tested and no problems were found with it.

I tested this code with a microtek2 SCSI scanner, btw. I'm surprised
ppscsi and onscsi still work, given they both haven't seen an update
in years.
