In Etch we still have programs in rootskel-bootfloppy that are compiled against or directly use klibc. Those will break if there is any kind of (ABI?) change in klibc. The safe solution would be to also upload a stable update for rootskel built against the new klibc, or at least test that things still work with the new klibc. Note that this strict link between rootskel and klibc was resolved with rootskel 1.51, so it's no longer an issue for lenny/sid. Cheers, FJP
