I am merging these two bugs because I think they are the same issue.

It has come to my issue that this issue is most likely caused by an ia32
chroot on the system, and the libraries within that chroot being out of
sync with the host system.

Please do the following things, and then report if nspluginwrapper is
working or not:

1. Remove all references to chroot library paths from /etc/ld.so.conf
and /etc/ld.so.conf.d/*, then run ldconfig.

2. Update the chroot (if it exists, and just in case an odd caching
issue is occuring). Ensure dpkg reports the same version for the ia32
chroot as the amd64 host system.

If my suspicions are correct, the problem exemplified in these two bugs
will then go away. I don't think this is a bug in nspluginwrapper, I
think it is an issue with mismatched libc6 packages between ia32 and
amd64 linux installations.

If you could get both get back to me as soon as possible that would be
great.

Kind regards,
rob.
