A bug has been found when using 'root' identification throw 'su'. The problem is located in DBUS when managing UIDs, and has already been reported to DBUS (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11876) and I'm right now checking what's about debian-dbus status. In any case, upstream has managed to find a workaround, included in the next release, which is being uploaded ATM.
