Because the firmware is not "free", so if we include it in the firmware we had to ship the package in non-free or contrib. > Is there some systematic way in Debian to find documentation needed for > the installation of a package? You can try /usr/share/doc/packagename. Anyway, we are working on a better way to download the firmware and warn the users about that.
