Package: grep-dctrl Version: 2.1.10 Severity: wishlist Hi,
I routinely want to use grep-dctrl on full archive's Packages.gz and Sources.gz files in the archive, but find myself clumsing around with zcat et al. It'd be nice if grep-dctrl could filter files through gunzip when they match /\.gz$/ stdin support doesn't seem necessary to me because in those cases people can easily put gunzip in the pipe. --Jeroen -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-686 Locale: LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nl_NL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages grep-dctrl depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- Jeroen van Wolffelaar [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://jeroen.A-Eskwadraat.nl -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
