package lastfm tags 432718 +patch thanks I attached a patch that lets the client choose from multiple sound systems. Currently users can choose between ALSA and OSS.
It works well on my system. Reinhard Tartler doesn't get sound output while using the OSS plugin, but he says it could be a local problem. The patch was sent upstream on 7/15/07. It's pretty significant and modifies some core parts of the client, so I'm waiting to hear what they want to do about it before it goes in the Debian archive. If anyone wants to offer bug fixes or improvements, I'd be happy to hear them. Cheers, John
