I think you can do so in the preferences, but in the end you have to
toggle /apps/epiphany/general/managed_network in GConf.
Didn't see it in the preferences, but yes, the GConf setting fixes this
completely. I'm wondering how the setting was activated, but epiphany
is working normally now. Many thanks!
