Package: apt-cacher

I'm getting a similar problem -- dozens of errors of the form
E: Failed to fetch
http://apt:3142/mirror.internode.on.net/pub/debian/pool/main/b/build-essential/build-essential_11.3_i386.deb:
Size mismatch
I strongly suspect this is because I'm using apt-cacher for both
Ubuntu and Debian systems, and they both provide a file called
build-essential_11.3_i386.deb.
This is a major pain; it basically makes it impossible for two
distributions to share an apt-cacher instance.
