Hi, I just noticed synaptic has moved to the system tools menu, and frankly I don't think this is the correct place, as it is really related to system administration. As such, it should be in the system menu along with gnome-system-tools ans gnome-cups-manager.
As I see in the changelog, this was done because it appeared in the new control-center, but frankly I don't see it as a problem. The main interface for capplets is still the menu, and users would anyway expect to find synaptic in the control center as well. In short, please move synaptic back to its former location.
