hi, i forwarded that bug to upstream and was told, that (nearly?) all quake engines show this strange behaviour.
it seems that this bug isn't trivial to fix, so i guess it won't be fixed in the near future. but i'm with you, it's definitely not the behaviour a user expects! cheers - fuddl -- Among elephants it's not considered cool nor in any good taste to drain other elephants
