Hi there, following experience: accessability is set to "false" using gconftool-2: # gconftool-2 -g /desktop/gnome/interface/accessibility false However acroread starts using accessability: $ acroread GTK Accessibility Module initialized ** Message: ATK_ROLE_TOOLTIP object found, but doesn't look like a tooltip. ** Message: ATK_ROLE_TOOLTIP object found, but doesn't look like a tooltip. ** Message: ATK_ROLE_TOOLTIP object found, but doesn't look like a tooltip. even it is set to false even through acroread ! So I guess this IS a GTK issue....
