Package: offlineimap Version: 5.99.2 Followup-For: Bug #433732 I just subscribed to a new mailing list. My procmail rules automatically create a new folder on the server when they receive the first message. Old versions of offlineimap would have to be restarted to pick up the new folder, but 5.99.2 just grabs it.
The folder has so far only received one message, but it still has a UID validity error: Scanning folder [Maildir/svk-users] WARNING: UID validity problem for folder INBOX.svk-users (repo Remote) (saved 1186158139; got 1186163003); skipping it I'm wondering if this could conceivably be a Courier problem. The first message is "./cur/1186157962.24442_1.nan:2,". That message has been synced. But when offlineimap re-ran it now said: Scanning folder [Maildir/svk-users] WARNING: UID validity problem for folder INBOX.svk-users (repo Remote) (saved 1186158139; got 1186163409); skipping it See the change in the new UID? There's no courierimapuiddb file in the folder yet, either. Maybe syncing isn't enough to make Courier realize the UID is now fixed. Let me know if you agree and I will reassign to Courier.
