Package: python-qt4
Version: 4.3-2
Severity: normal

when trying to a PyQt4 into a debugging version of the python interpreter (2.4
or 2.5),
the interpreter raises an ImportError:

>>> from PyQt4 import QtCore
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/PyQt4/QtCore.so: undefined
symbol: Py_InitModule4

this makes debugging quite difficult and fixing this would be a great help!

thnx, tim
