Package: Gaim / pidgin Version: current But the bug filed under the above number is still there!
Also, my proposal in the bug report still stands. There is a current version (of pidgin) available at: http://hjh.passys.nl/PHPbbBook/ The current version is not compatible package for package with the current Pidgin version in Sid, but as a complete entity, it works with all Pidgin plugins and addons in the Debian repo's.
