  aiui, even the 'mount' provided previously by mount would have
  failed if portmap (well, lockd, I'm guessing) was unavailable.
  Therefore, having mount only Recommend nfs-common is the
  appropriate solution.  Having nfs-common only Recommend portmap
  doesn't make much sense since 'mount.nfs' principally doesn't
  work w/o portmap.  The same is not true for 'mount', which can
  do the vast majority of its regular stuff w/o 'mount.nfs'.

  So, people who needed NFS mounts working must already have nfs-common
  and portmap installed, therefore there's no disappearance of features
  during the upgrade path.
