Thanks for the report. It would be great if you could provide a list of all errors you've spotted so far. AFAIK no one among the maintainer team is using MetaPost for personal use, and it's hard to find errors (even this type) of a document you've never looked at. Given that MetaPost is actively developed again, I'm confident that your corrections will be applied by the upstream authors soon.
