New version of Skype 1.4.0.74 for Linux came out on June 14, 2007.

But it doesn't run with the current ia32-libs in Etch.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/skype-1.4.0.74$ ./skype

./skype: error while loading shared libraries: libQtDBus.so.4: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory

On the website (http://www.skype.com/download/skype/linux/) the stated
software requirements are:

    * Qt 4.2.1+

    * D-Bus 1.0.0

    * libsigc++ 2.0.2

The previous version of Skype worked fine with ia32-libs in Etch on
