Hmm I've installed samba-dbg - but pam_smbpass.so is not there as I can see. I'm not 100% sure the complete setup of my /etc/pam.d is correct but even if not - I suppose it should not coredump and give some normal exit code right ?
Is there any way how could I help with debugging - i.e. can you build some debug version of pam_smbpass.so Could I get some debug log what's going on somehow with some option ?
