When I put the panel on the side, all the names get cut off, because the panel is then only 40 pixels wide. For instance, it says "Xfce Men" instead of "Xfce Menu". The worst offender is the task list. It displays like this: [ [ICON] Gno..." ] It leaves huge amounts of blank space above and below the little truncated line that is telling me that I have a Gnome Terminal running. It would be best if that blank space could be used by folding the text onto several lines. Even better, the icon should be put on a line of its own.
