Yes, my gnubiff instance also watches a second mailbox (not maildir)
which usually contains 1-5 messages and I just verified that this bug
happens to it as well.

If I send myself a message, read it and continue the cycle I can hit the
bug very soon.

BTW, this upgrade caused another *huge* problem: now the popup window
steals the focus from the current window. I'm using fvwm2 in a gnome
environment with SloppyFocus and gnubiff running as a panel applet.
