 As outlined in #354211 experimental is meant to track the development
release.  Given a bit of shortage of time and quite some structural
changes to the file list in the development branch since 1.3.2 I can't
tell you yet though when I'll be ready to update the experimental
package, sorry.

 So yes, experimental is expected to track the development branch - but
right now it would be better if you build it from source.
