I'm seeing the same thing. btlaunchmanycurses dies the moment it opens it's first .torrent.

I've tried several variations. Multiple torrents in the directory. A single torrent in the directory.
A partially downloaded torrent, a completely new torret. They all cause a crash.

If btlaunchmanycurses is launched in an empty directory it attempts to open the
torrents in subdirectories (BAD!), and crashes when it opens the first one (WORSE!)

If there are no torrents in the directory, btlaunchmanycurses does not crash.
However, when a torrent is then copied to that directory, and is found at the
regular scanning interval, the crash immediately ensues.

By downgrading my version of bittornado I verified that my torrents are not
corrupted (previous version of btlaunchmanycurses works without problems).
