Package: xterm Version: 226-1 Followup-For: Bug #319822 Hello,
I think I can confirm this bug. (I am not sure it is the same, but I think so). Sometimes, xterm dies when I open a program, for instance when I start "man useradd", "bitchx" or other programs. aterm does not seem to be effected. When starting xterm from an other terminal and typing something simple like man useradd, the xterm dies and I get the following error message in my first terminal: $ xterm xterm: warning, error event received: X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 77 (X_ImageText16) Value in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 260 Current serial number in output stream: 305 I do not think to have done anything special since the last updates.
