This version does not handle weak references, while same versions (on i386,
amd64) do :
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ /usr/bin/perl -e'use Scalar::Util qw/weaken/;'
Weak references are not implemented in the version of perl at -e line 1
kernel : linux 2.4.26-sparc64
I upgraded to a new kernel :
uname -a
Linux klikl 2.6.21-2-sparc64 #1 Thu Jul 12 12:33:00 UTC 2007 sparc64 GNU/Linux
and compiled perl (could not compile perl with previous kernel)
gcc version 4.1.3 20070629 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.2-13)
Things seem now OK .
