Package: eclipse-platform
Version: 2.1.3-4
Severity: normal

Hi,

when starting the search function of eclipse's integrated help system
for the first time, it is trying to create an index with lucene.

The problem is that the symlink
/usr/share/eclipse/plugins/org.apache.lucene_1.2.1/parser.jar points to
the non-existing /usr/share/java/lucene-demos-1.2.1.jar. The current
upstream version of the liblucene-java package in debian is 1.4.3, so
the correct jar to point at would be lucene-demos-1.4.3.jar.

I corrected the link locally and the search function works again.

Maybe it would be a good idea to ask the maintainer of liblucene-java
for adding a version-less lucene-demos.jar symlink as it is done with
lucene.jar.
