This was fixed in therion 0.4.1 which was uploaded to experimental in december 2006. It seemed that putting it in testing just before the release was a bad idea. Given the eventual delays it would probably have been fine.
Thanx to the texlive team for the excellent help I got with the process of adding texlive support. Uploading 0.4 to unstable has been delayed because 1st I did it wrong and got it refused, then the server with the updated veriosn on had serious issues which mean I lost acces to the code for about 3 months. It is now back so an upload should finally happen soon, clearing up all the outstanding bugs.
