Could you catch a backtrace with gdb after installing xserver-xorg-core-dbg? The best is to attach gdb through ssh from another machine with 'gdb -p $(pidof X)' and send us the output of 'bt full' in gdb once the crash occurred. Also note that some Xvideo-related fixes have been added in xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-7, it could possibly help with your problem too.
