Hi (I'm the upstream). > WARNING: Unable to read AFM file > /usr/share/texmf-tetex/fonts/afm/adobe/courier/pcrr8a.afm: > nonexistent directory: #P"/usr/share/texmf-tetex/"
One of the favourite Debian sports is moving the root of the texmf tree around. I'll try to fix it upstream by trying to autogenerate the config file at install-time. For now, you'll need to edit /etc/cedilla-config.lisp and replace all occurrences of /usr/share/texmf-tetex/ by whatever is correct on your system. As to the dependencies, it's a tough problem: if Cedilla depends on all the fonts that it can use, he'll end up pulling in half of Debian. A solution would be to include the Adobe base-14 AFMs in Cedilla itself, which is something I'm considering for the next version -- but PvE has already stated he'll remove them from the Debian package.
