Hello Bruce amd Maintainer,

The Bugreport below affect not only 1.5.13.
The IMAP code is broken since 1.5.9 (Sarge)

Also it disconnects sporadic, while I am already (!!!) in a for
some seconds opened Mailbox with the message "Mailbox empty" and
two other weired messages like "unexpected reponse from Server"

I am using Courier-Imap and it seems, the Version from Sid 1.l5.13-3
is working better but something breaks too.

Also mutt produce unneccesary network traffic IF I postpone messages.

Problem:

I was accessing my ISP's IMAP over GSM/EDGE and have only 100 MByte
traffic but while accessing the Server <mx.freenet.de> and open a
mailbox of 1000 Messages (~8 MByte) I cont a traffic of OVER 40 MByte
while downloading the messages using fetchmail produce only 9-10 MByte.

It seems the WHOLE IMAP-Code is broken since Sarge, because it was
working under Woody.

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
