Machine: Gigabyte GA-7VAXP Ultra motherboard, home built Processor: AMD Athlon XP2200+ Memory: 768 MB , DDR-266 Root Device: /dev/hde1 -- When creating a RAID array and selecting component devices, they are listed by their devfs names, like this : /dev/ide/host2/bus0/target1/lun0/part6 instead of classic names like /dev/hdf6 , like they are used in the rest of the partitioner ( including the page for deleting a raid device ).
